Royal Mail Delivery Update

Royal Mail are currently experiencing severe delays to their normal delivery schedules, due to a huge increase in mail volume, and widespread staff shortages up and down the country. All orders from our website are still being dispatched with the normal 2 business day time frame, via Royal Mail First Class. However, we are finding it can take up to ten WORKING days for orders to reach their destination. If you have received a dispatch note but have not yet received your order, we are asking you to please be patient. It is on it's way, and it will reach you eventually! Different sorting centres are experiencing different levels of difficultly, so time frames will vary wildly depending on which centres your order has to travel through.

If it has been more than ten working days (Mon- Fri ONLY) since you received a dispatch note from us, then please get in touch via email so we can investigate further.

As we are all too aware, the Covid 19 global pandemic is affecting every corner of our lives, and it is an exceptionally difficult and stressful time, with each of us facing a totally unique set of challenges and daily life adjustments.

 

We want to reassure our customers that we are still here, and still accepting and fulfilling orders. We will continue to do so for as long as it is safe, and as long as the government guidelines allow us to do so.

Our Etsy store remains open, and you can still shop a selection of our items on joules.com as well, which all continues to operate as normal. We also have many of our most popular items in stock on Amazon, and continue to try our hardest to keep stock levels topped up on there. If you are looking for super quick delivery and are an Amazon Prime customer, this is currently the most reliable option, as they are delivering faster than Royal Mail. Just head to Amazon and search for HexNex.

What We Are Doing

All our silicone comes from our one, single, trusted supplier in China, whose items we have had extensively tested to ensure they are safe and compliant for your little ones. We are in the fortunate position to hold a lot of stock on hand, here at our HQ. That means we have plenty of stock to keep fulfilling all your orders. If and when items go out of stock on the website, we will make this clear on an individual item basis.

I produce every item by hand, in my home office, which I take pride in keeping clean to the highest standards. It goes without saying though that during these unprecedented times, I will be taking extra precautions and stepping up on cleaning to reduce any risk. My office has always been and remains a sanctuary for myself - I escape into there without the kids or the husband, as often as I can! As long as I remain fit and healthy, the business will still continue to operate, as we look for ways to navigate through what will be a challenging time for all small businesses.

What You Can Do

Our advice on keeping your items clean and safe remains much the same as always. Just like with hand washing, the best way to clean your jewellery is with hot, soapy water, leaving it to air dry. We always suggest doing this regularly whenever you have an item of teething jewellery, but it is now more important than ever to make sure you are doing it before and after every use.

If you are out and about or can't access hand washing facilities, a Milton steriliser wipe is also great for cleaning your items.

If you drop your jewellery on the floor, or place it down on any surface, we suggest a thorough clean before you allow your baby to use it again. When you are not using your jewellery, store it in the cotton bag we provide with every item, to keep it safe and minimise contact.

We also advise not letting anyone else touch your jewellery (which will be difficult, as we know people always want to admire it and feel the texture!) but as we all adjust to the new norm of social distancing, it's just another thing to keep in mind.

Free Gift Notes

We know that lots of friends and family at the moment are choosing to self isolate, perhaps because they are vulnerable, or someone in their household is, or possibly because they are pregnant and are putting their baby's health and well being first. This can be a lonely, scary and overwhelming time, so we want to be able to help support anyone we can through it. If you are ordering an item as a gift to send to someone who is currently in this position, leave a note at the checkout to let us know. Write them an encouraging message, and we'll add it to their order in one of our beautiful greeting cards, free of charge. Kind words and gestures, however small, from our nearest and dearest during these tough times can make all the difference, and just knowing there are people out there who are thinking of us, despite the distance and the isolation, is what will get us all through this.
